Announcing auditions for BFT’s upcoming production of The Clean House by Sarah Ruhl directed by Rebecca Jones. The show runs March 8th-24th.
CASTING CALL
LANE: A doctor, a woman in her early fifties.
MATILDE: Lane's cleaning lady, a woman in her late twenties. Good sense of deadpan humor. Brazilian-Portuguese accent, with some text spoken in Portuguese.
VIRGINIA: Lane's sister, a woman in her late fifties.
CHARLES: Lane's husband, a man in his fifties. A compassionate surgeon. He is childlike underneath his white coat. Also plays Matilde's father.
ANA: An Argentinian woman. She is impossibly charismatic. Also plays Matilde's mother. She is older than Lane.
WHAT TO PREPARE?
Bring a good sense of humor and a willingness to play. Sides will be provided. Laughter will be encouraged.
WHEN?
Auditions held Saturday, January 20th by appointment from 4:00-7:00 and Monday, January 22nd from 5:00-7:00 pm. To sign up for a time slot, please email rjones.directing@gmail.com with your availability. Video submissions accepted if unable to attend.
